So the point behind this thread would be to tell us your game-related "Is it just me"-moments, and possibly answer one of the moments you feel you can answer accordingly, or ofcourse just agree with anyone you feel is not alone in his/her perception. I'll start:

Is it just me or is it quite difficult to be well-equipped in Fallout 3? I don't know about higher levels but when I started out and ventured into the Capital Wasteland it was quite diffilcult to keep a comfortable amount of ammo and healing produce on me, partially due to powrful enemies and the scarcity of currency. Is that just me being a noob or does this game really hold true to post-apolcalyptic survival?

EDIT: I just realised this topic is terribly out of place and I apologise for that. I must've skimmed over the threads too fast. Could a moderator move it maybe?

Is it just me or is the double jump a completly ridiculous part of Gaming. i mean how can you jump again in mid air?!?!

Given it is a fallacy of Game-versus-life-versus-game-imitating-life and it is physically impossible unless you can fart with 400 pounds of thrust, it still is fun.

I would say that I haven't noticed that trend an incredible amount but you likely take pleasure in it, so it shouldn't matter.

Is it just me or does every main character in modern gaming sound like they smoke about 8 packs of cigarettes a day (ex. Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, Gabriel Logan (Siphon Filter))?

No Fightgarr, not EVERY character in modern gaming. Take example, Mario. He's a badass. and yet, he sounds squeaky and ,uh, italian. Or, if you want to talk about grizzled, Action heroes that are in modern gaming, what about my good man Captain Price?

I honestly haven't noticed, but considering that 9/10ths of the strong Escapist posters are fairly eccentric it doesn't seem that odd too me.
