So, I'll admit, I'd never heard of the Escapist until I came across Zero Punctuation. Then after having lurked for quite some time I actually created an account and have assumed a small presence in the forums (as evidenced by the fact I've just made a thread, you silly people).

Here's my point: I have noticed several low-post (as in my level and under) members makes rampant Yahtzee references and I have discovered I hate them. ZP is probably my favorite bit on this site, and the man certainly has some quotable material, so why is it I want to punch anyone who says any thing like "jaaaames" or references the material? Does anyone else feel this way?

And does anyone know the ultimate sandwich recipe at subway?

I like ZP, but I'll reference to it VERY few times, im on the forums, not watching a review and i keep it this way.

Also, Italian BMT in Italian Bread, Peppered Cheese, Toasted, Lettuce only for salad and Honey Mustard.

Its like sex in bread.

I enjoy Yahtzee's work and all, but I don't really see a reason to follow him the way some of these fans do.

Also, try making a BMT on hearty Italian (not toasted) with provolone, lettuce, onions, jalapenos, oil, and vinegar. Best sandvich evar.

First off, why get annoyed at people who like ZP and like to quote it, its no big deal really.

As for the ultimate sandwich, it will never come from subway, the quality is garbage.

Well ZP also made me come to the site, I have been viewing the videos for about a year before I decided to actually join, as much as i love the forums, its Yahtzee that makes me stay.

I agree with you, some people do tend to troll the forums a bit to much and yes, his quotes are funny, but personally they are funny when said in real life. Written text tends to lack that suttle tone needed in joke telling.

I love ZP but i don't reference it in my comment, i think its unorigional and just annoying. Especially to Yahtzee who hates fanboys and other members who don't watch ZP.

My escapist history is almost exactly the same as your own, except that I now prefer Unskippable. As for the Yahtzee fanboys, most of them end up getting banned for trolling or other such things, so I wouldn't worry about them too much.

For the subway thing, I tend to just go with meatball marinara with extra cheese and extra marinara sauce. Mmm...

This guy has more or less taken claim over several games that he likes. If you like these games now it means you've been influenced by ZP, even though you liked them before you even had internet. I lOVED Silent Hill 2 and Sands of Time from the moment they were released. But ZP's constant spooging over them has left quite the stain.
