ok..so now I understand where your coming from (though I dont agree)Mad World said:I doubt I'd be able to sway anyone's opinion, so I won't bother trying to.Vault101 said:again I want to ask the same question I did before
why is the act of sex imoral? am I somehow more "moral" because ive never had sex? if I do have sex will I lose some kind of "purity" that Ill never get back?
anyway Im surprised at the mount of "moral" people here
I dont drink much or do drugs...mainly because I dotn care for that kind of crap and never had the chance anyway
BUT Im not about to pretend Im any more morally rightious than others, I self indulge just as bad if nto worse (on videogames and caffine)
Personally, I believe that it's immoral because it goes against Christianity. I understand why it is, though... when I marry someone, I would MUCH prefer them to have never had sex before. Can you honestly say that you're not the same?
Sex is something that is supposed to be special. Well, that's what I think, anyway.
I think it depends on your perspective, the problem I have with the religious veiw on things is it mixes sex and morality, and as far as Im concerned I dont think those too have to have much to do with each other
If I have sex with a guy under the right circumstances I dont think Ive done anything wrong or imoral....
anyway if to you sex is suposed to be special...then thats great (and many non virgins also hold that veiw), but just because somone has sex out of wedlock, doesnt mean it still cant be special, and I think the "no sex before marrage" is kind of outdated..and very limiting
now you could and probably wil find somone who accpets your veiws and you and all that nice stuff..I just dont think you need to limit yourself to "a virgin" because I dont think all "non-virgins" are courrupt in a way, you like somone, you are well within your right to sleep with them, a healthy sex life is not a bad thing
