Is Livejournal down?

I can't seem to get through to livejournal.com; I tried a couple of times now since 6pm EST (1pm GMT) and I can't get through. Is it me, or is it LJ?

Ordinarily I'd just shrug it off, but there's been some rumours of mass layoffs at Six Apart (LJ's corporate lord and master) which has had folks a bit, er, nervous about their blogs. Given that, it's hard not to think that something more drastic has happened than a simple "oops".

Well if ya couldn't get to the site I'd say that's a yes.

It's down. My usual way of checking is to head to the appropriately named site:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com

If it's working, it'll say so. If it's not, you'll get "Huh? doesn't look like a site on the interwho." which is what I just got when I tried checking Livejournal.

Ah, thanks. I didn't know that site existed... it's bookmarked now.

Incidentally, I just typed the LJ address into my browser, they're now showing this:
