Hahaha, this thread is interesting. Well you don't look miserable, you look pretty happy with yourself. That's all that matters, I'm a pretty downright happy dude but I don't look like I do I guess. Like your shirt too.
Not really just looks like you find something funny but you don't plan on sharing it. remember not to hold eye contact with someone when you have a secretive smile though or it might turn into rapist-smile. 
Trust me, you'll go a lot farther just knowing to yourself that you are happy. It's not like the way a person's face is configured would make or break you. You really don't have to show it, from what you're saying it sounds like you have to prove something to someone. Why? To tell you the truth there is no reason why. people have found me too depressing and when i smile its "creepy" or funny (some blasted facebook pic of my family and im the only one NOT smiling and my "serious gaming face" dosent help)

Nope, doesn't look creepy at all. I wouldn't worry about it so much if I were you, just let your smile show.
Smiles are mostly creepy when they're either offputtingly false, or so strange as to be suggestive of a mental illness, and yours doesn't seem to have either of those issues, so you're golden.
