I'll just leave this here [http://www.wowarmory.com/character-achievements.xml?r=Azuremyst&n=Okuret]

This is my buddy. Though he has no xbox, I think he is number two on our realm for achievements. He is a whore.

Achievements are pretty pointless anyways. You get them for starting the game, you get them for completing the first level, you get them for doing some mind-numbingly easy task fifty times... if this can help generate even more ridiculous amounts of revenue, then more power to the Micro$oft machine for a great business tactic.

If I have incentive to watch DVDs on my 360, that's even more dust that will gather on my PS3.

I wonder if there's an achievement for that?

It seems a little redundant to me. With game-achievements, most of those them have to at least be attempted to be earned, like completing the first chapter in a game or something.

With the achievements not in games, like the example of watching 50 movies, it's like they're rewarding you for living your life and just doing something rather than actually "achieving" them.

No. Bad idea. Gamerscore should be left to scores you get in the GAME.

Speaking of which.

I honestly don't care. I only like the fact that I can see that bubble of happiness for something I did in game. If I got something for turning the console on or connecting to xbox live I would ignore them and just continue on to my game where I can get "real" achievements.
