I'm just about to buy the full version of minecraft, but is it safe. I would like to make sure i won't be scammed

Don't think so considering he does have his own company, you sign a contract and its just generally safe anyway, millions have bought the game without too much trouble.. Use paypal to buy it if you're unsure, they keep your money safe..

Just download it off the main site. If it weren't safe I don't think the millions who've bought the game already would praise it so much and want other people to buy it.

Hell, Mojang is winning March Madness right now if that's any indication. If they were being scammed I reeeeally don't think that'd be the case.

In single player yes its fine. However, I am not aware of this happening YET.. But I can forsee in the future when multiplayer support becomes official and more commonly used, people using the multiplayer client to do some nasty things sort of like what was known to happen in runescape.

Its safe.. but as with anything on the internet, it has the potential that someone, somewhere will pervert its intention.

No problems so far .. no second charges or the sort. All worked out quickly.

As for once you get into the game ... well if you pick peaceful .. your safe from everything but your own boneheadedness. Every other mode, I can't call safe.

Now, is the game world safe? No. No it is not. Unless you put the difficulty down to Peaceful.
