Is Monday Night Combat worth it?

My friends and I want another multiplayer game we can all play on Xbox live together.

Is Monday Night Combat worth a shot? It looks pretty cool, but I have heard good and bad (mostly good) things about it.

Thanks for any insight!

ALSO: Are there any major differences between the PC and XBLA versions of the game?

You should try the console version of the game to see if you like it!. Personally, I think it's the best multiplayer xbla game out there!

P.S. While I don't do pc gaming, I hear that the pc has modding tools and can have more players in a game. But if you ask me I think 6 vs 6 is more than enough.

Awesome thanks, it looks great.

Does only having 1 map (2 with the free DLC) get boring?

Also is there any talk of future patches/DLC?

The PVP has several maps, the survival tower defense has 2 with the free dlc. It is worth it though, very addicting.

Several maps even in the Xbox version?

Ok, cool final question, is the Xbox community for the game active? I don't mind if they are annoying I can mute them I just don't want to get a muliplayer game with no community haha

Monday Night Combat is basically a poor man's Team Fortress 2, but it's still a damn decent game.

Monday night combat still has a huge active community so don't worry about that! The game has sold over 300,000 copies so it's still pretty big.

Not bad. TF2 with NPCs. You have unlock skills every single battle though (higher speed boost, jump/jetpack, etc.) Kind of regret getting it, too much like TF2, rarely played it.

I got it and it is really fun and a bit addicting. I keep finding myself only playing Support and Assualt though. Level 3 Bull-charge never gets old haha

MNC is lots of fun, especially if you have a team that knows what it's doing. I tend to play Assassin and Support the most myself.

I usually go after bots the most, since they're essential to bringing down the enemy's money ball.

PC MNC was entirely dead last time I checked, although right now it's Steam's Daily Deal, at $3.75, so there might be more players again for a while. I doubt it'll last, though.
