is PSN down?

well after completing my bioshock evil run i wanted to go online again but PSN wont connect so i ran a network check to see what the problem was expecting it to be my connection but no apparently i carnt connect to PSN. So is PSN currently down or have i got a problem?

im now sure it isnt my internet connection after watching iplayer off my PS3 so its just PSN thats causing a problem.

Well this is fairly pointless.

All internet services require maintenance at one time or another. Don't see why you need to get your knickers in a twist.

I just came from AvP multiplayer literally 2 minutes ago. PSN works fine here.

I just signed on as well.

wireless router but the connection is apparently up and runnign on the network check the first 2 checks are fine then it says it was timed out on the 3rd.

Mine and most of the guys on my list (Australia) was crashing out last night. Stopped at about midnight though. It does this sometimes, but hey, at least it's free!

it seems to of kinda fixed its self except it occasiaonally kicks me out of a game or kicks me at the end saying ive been signed off so far the has cost me about 1200 points in 2 games and deleveled me. I think the problem could be that the internet is so crap round here that after about 4pm with more people logging on it screws everything up.
