Is Risen on PC any good?

I loved Gothic 2, 3, and 4 (despite it not being as good), and I heard Risen which was developed by the guys who made Gothic 2 and 3, is really good, and is a lot like Gothic.

So is it good?

Does it have:

A large open world?

Nice enviroments?

Good gameplay?

Playable after ending?

(I am asking this becuase its on sale.)

Its awful no matter what you play it on, or so I'm told. I played it on Xbox and hated it, the pc version has some better reviews but its still not worth anyones time according to my friend who plays on the PC.

For the record we both play and love rpgs, this one is just bad.

Risen is shorter than Gothic 3, but (till where i am, in gothic 3, at least) more fun.
its a bit easier in parts.

looks better. the world is pretty big (not as big as g3) i cant remember if its playable after the ending, but im gonna go with no, but you should ask someone else.
the story is pretty fun, the last boss fight is... eh, its okay...

you are limited on which character path you take, if you become a mage, you cant use swords and whatnot. so theres that

EDIT: adding in, not worth full price, depending on the sale price, i'd definitely recommend it

for 15 bucks i could probably recommended, i will point out though, there are two weird bugs in it, one was confusing as all hell and one's just really funny
(confusing one: guy sends you to go talk to henry or whatever. henry doesnt exist, he actually means a patrick or something. you can just use the quest markers to find him on the map, and its way towards the end.
funny one: character called drok is actually called dork. lul)

but those were the only two i had. i'd say go for it, if those dont seem annoying.
