The year is 2005, and a young Conor Burrows is sitting on a bench talking to his best friend. Their conversation is one about an idea for an animated feature film they have, a delightful movie called "Golden Wings." The feature is about carrier pigeons during a war. It has action, adventure, comedy, flight, and pyrotechnic mice. Three months later, the move 'Valiant' is released in theaters. It fits exactly the description above. Coincidence?

Possibly. One year later, in 2006, our young hero again has a brilliant idea. He imagines a fantastic planet full of aliens and humans alike, and one team of them band to defend the universe. Galaxy Defender and the Team Galaxy are stationed in a central space hub in a remote location on the planet, along with several hundred members of the planet's militia. Only weeks after creation, a Canadian television show broadcasted from Quebec is released on the air, with the name "Team Galaxy" and includes many of the aforementioned elements. Happenstance?

Maybe. A full year of created ideas go by, and thankfully none get copied. This story, however, is the longest. In the spring of 2007, Conor is enlisted in his favorite English class of all time. His job? Write a story about a hero. And write he does. He fabricates a fantastic tale of five aliens, sent to protect Earth from a threat of Alitar, the Darkness Commander. The main character, the second hero, is being hunted. However, he does have defense. He can make his body glow, lift objects with his mind, and even copy others voices. In 2011, four years later, a movie based on a novel is released. The movie? "I am Number Four" a complete failure of a movie trying to be the next teen sensation. The plot of this movie? Nine aliens are sent to Earth. Their goal is to stay hidden and survive. However, they are being hunted by a threat for some reason or other, and number four, the main character, does not know what to do. When he goes to high school, he begins to receive supernatural gifts. The ability to glow and movie objects with his mind are among them. Uh-oh. is Conor being followed/

It seems more and more certain. This is our last tale for today, readers, and it is the most surprising. Our hero is more grown up now, he has made new friends and has joined an amazing community called "The Escapist". He is marveled at how many people there are like him and understand him. He feels the need to give something back. So, he and his friends plan to enter the 2010 Escapist Film Festival. A script is written. Possibly the nerdiest script of all time! It is called "Game Club," and it is a story of the future. The details will not be mentioned in case it wins next year, but it is about ten gamers that live in the year 2021, a decade into the future. The main characters are masters of their craft. They are unbeatable at first-person shooters and real time strategy games respectively. They amass a group of gamers similar to themselves and attempt to enter the largest gaming tournament in the world. Any of this strike you as familiar? I bet it does.

If you have not yet guessed, I am this boy. Seriously, this gets annoying. Every great idea I have seems to get used by something else. Not just based on, surprisingly similar. I have the stories if anyone wants to read them if you don't believe me. I'm just a bit hesitant about putting up the (original) Game Club script because I want to enter this year. What do you think is going on here? Conspiracy? Heresy? Hyperbole?

Any proof of these things? Like original planned scripts or a birth certificate?

It's okay, your stories sound terrible. If there is a guy taking your stories you should be thanking him, he's saving you the humiliation. They also sound quite generic, I'm not critiquing your shit I'm just saying there are probably a ton of people with the ability to write premises like that.

Your paranoid.

Now take off your pants... ..slowly.

On a serious note: No, your just paranoid.
Ideas are by no means unique - look at TV for example, invented by two different people using two wholly different methods within a very narrow time frame.

Also, just consider how long the film Valiant took to make, its a CGI film if I remember rightly? We are talking years, not three months.
