From what I can see, there's no brach in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine other than Orks as enemies. I like the look of it, but just Orks seems really lame.

Does anyone know if other races will be in there. My fav was always Eldar

The story is about a Forge World being invaded by orks, so they send the Ultramarines to defend it.

No, there won't be any Eldar.

It looks that way, and the devs make no reference to anything other than orks. Which is disappointing, but hey, its orks, are you really complaining?

I'd like Chaos to be in there, they always turn up near the end.

They're like regular Space Marines but cooler.

Tyranids are in there for sure, one of the cinematics showed a nid carnifex in the background.

Relic is actually pretty good at keeping things under wraps, so I wouldn't be too surprised to see some other factions in there even without seeing them in trailers or screenshots.

They always do this guys. We thought that DOW II would only have Orks at first. Give them time.

They've done the storyline three times already (even after copying from Warcraft 3 (and even then it wasn't original)):

1. The space marines go and start killing some orks.

2. Chaos forces attack and the space marines realise that fighting orks was a waste of time.

3. Space marines win anyway.

In a interview he did say something about chaos halfway threw the game. Or was it lying and he meant something else? o_O But anyways, I'm so getting this game when it first comes out.

It could be like they've done before, where the Eldar are the ones who manipulated the Orks into attacking the world. Because let's face it, even the utterly insane Orks would think twice before attacking a *forge world* that's Space Marine-controlled, that is unless they wanted a whole lot of lasgun where their faces used to be.

When you think about it, with the PC as a space marine, the orks are the only enemy that would really be any fun to fight. Other enemies would wither be too easy (Imperial Guard), or rip you to shreds in a few minutes (Necrons, Eldar, etc.) So besides the Orks and MAYBE the Tyranids, there are no other races that really fit a "video game enemy" level of difficulty for a space marine.

If I'm totally wrong, please feel free to berate me and flay me alive, as I do not claim to be a 40k nerd at all, and what I'm saying is based on what I've read on the 40K wiki and a couple of bits of the books I read.

Space Marines from the table top game are supposed to be able to tear through almost anything as I recall. Dawn of War doesn't do the army justice according to the guys on TvTropes.
