Is Superman a nerd?

Here's why I think Superman appeals to the nerd crowd

1) He's an alien, loved by his family and friends but basically misunderstood by everyone else

2) Most of the time, he is a mild mannered, glasses wearing guy with a 9-5 job and no girlfriend.

3) Even as Superman he only ever dates 1 girl at a time.

4) While not Clark Kent, he is an all powerful, kick ass superhero (Is he dreaming?)

5) He goes to his Fortress of Solitude (his room) and messes around with the Phantom Zone (The internet) and the minature city of Kandor (making toy models)

No......He's Superman, he's like batman if more patriotic and not as badass.

I like to think of him as the defender of nerd-kind.

Most people call 'im a boy scout. So, I guess that depends on how you view boy scouts.

He's more a nerd ideal. Relateable to to nerds, maybe even disguised as a nerd, but I'm not sure he's one himself.

But he's also boring, so I don't care too much. As in I'm not losing sleep.

Oh he's clearly a nerd. Have you seen the things he HAS in the Fortress. A wax collection of his Rogues Gallery, Krytonian artifacts, weapons from all over the galaxy, An intergalactic zoo and garden, robots, a lab, various memerobelia from his adventures. Yeah its official. Superman is a nerd. That why I like him.
