The reshaping of Azeroth is why i hate Cataclysm, and why there i no way in hell that i will go back to WoW after it.

I like my Azeroth as it is.Beautiful, not spoiler by volcanos and other shit.

I remembered going to STV just to enjoy the scenery, now that's all out the window, which sucks so fucking much.

Some places are going to become more beautiful. Lower Barrens, for example, will be transformed by what Naralex has been trying to do in the Wailing Caverns for 5 years, and will be lush and verdant. Desolace is getting flooded which means there'll be more greenery.

It's making the world feel less static and unchanging. I think it's brilliant, myself.

Okay so the Barrens are finally get a fix up and Desolace will stop being a boring salt hole.

But still,my precious Stranglethorn Vale.

Looking forward to the event myself.

I've also heard that ogrimmar and Ironforge are now host to several stacks of crates in their war districts.

Always hated Stranglethorn Vale. Hope they'll ravage it until it's beyond recognition!

As an Admiral of the seventh Bloodsail fleet, I'd be more than happy to see Booty Bay sink to the bottom of the ocean.

You people have no appreciation for Desolace. It suits its name perfectly - it is supposed to be bleak and depressing and boring.

Good quiet leveling memories. Ah.

That's pretty cool if the random Earth quakes are actually related to Cataclysm and I hope they release the expansion near the 1st quarter of 2010; can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Probably won't happen. I can't see this beta being shorter than the one for WotLK, which was 3-4 months long. So we're looking at April at the absolute EARLIEST, and there hasn't even been a beta opt-in yes.

Knowing Blizzard your prediction seems way way too optimistic. I would shoot third-fourth quarter of 2010 while StarCraft in the 2 quarter. :D

"When they tell you not to panic, THAT'S WHEN YOU PANIC!!!"

When you all see the level 80's getting IMs saying to begin boarding now, the end is nigh unless you have 2 billion platium to bribe blizard.

in truth, i just hate non-linear dungeons. Sunken Temple, Maraudon, Halls of Stone, Wailing Caverns, Stockades, Nexus, Ahn kahet: the old kingdom, Scholomance, Gnomeregan, i hate all those dungeons.

With the exception of Stratholme, i REALLY hate non linear dungeons.

Old Kingdom isn't really non-linear. There's a start, two compulsory bosses and then the exit portal. There are three optionals but they don't lead you in a different path to the end of the instance. There's only one path to the end.

Cool. As much as I dislike WoW, for various petty reasons, Blizzard has a pretty cool way of doing things.

I'd expect WoW:Cat to be released around early 2012 actually. Possibly around summer of 2012 if at all.

And I always wondered why my screen shook when I was fishing in Azeroth! Glad to know, though the drawback to WoW is undecided.
