Stick the Mammoth got 10 ughs on Metacavewall.
But that was before the trampling issue was discovered.

Terminator 3; The Movie, The Game!!

I dare you to find a better game than that.

(shudders)

OT: I don't think any game has ever been amazing. I would say half Life, but to me the only thing that had going for it was Character development and setting.

I think Super Mario Galaxy 2 has had several 10/10 ratings already.

There are a number of games over the years that have gotten absurdly high marks from various critics. It's really just a matter of opinion. There was one critic in Japan that gave Bayonetta a perfect score, yet there were tons of others that gave it a poor score. I remember that Perfect Dark got crazy good ratings when it came out years ago, but that's about it.

Well so far, from browsing around a bit, the top 3 games of all time(by score) seem to be LoZ: Ocarina of Time, followed by Super Mario Galaxy 2, followed by Super Mario Galaxy. So take that as you will.

Let's face it. The -/10 rating system is complete crap. There's hardly anything under a 6, and people will throw 10s to games like Halo 3 and Mario just because "It's epic dude".

I think you're confusing best game by critic rating and best game period. They are two very, very different things. The best game I've ever played would have to be men of war.

Too bad the game is a carbon copy of the previous game with a few additions. Too bad both games suck like most Nintendo products. They're boring as fuck.

See what you just typed? That's called an opinion. We all have one, and acting like a dick isn't going to make yours any more relevant than his.

OP: A 10/10 on what? Is there a sight that you are looking for in particular?
Uncharted 2 got over 40 10/10's I think, so you might want to try that.

Good luck finding.... Whatever you're looking for.

I don't actually likle chess. It always bothered me that a pawn could kill a knight, provided that he got the jump on him, with absolutly no chance of the knight being able to fight back. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I prefer warhammer.

Rating games is pontless. Just say if it's fun or not. Would you give a something/10 for chess? or monopoly?
I would but I enjoy those games as well as Risk. Yeah, I prefer to actually read the reviews instead of just base my opinion on the score. That way, I know what the game is actually like (if it's a good reviewer) and I can base my opinion on if it sounds fun to me based on it's content.

I would say that it would be possible for a "pawn" (common folk) to kill a "knight" if they surprise-attacked them. They would just have to get a good strike through a hole or weak spot in the armor...in other words, they're ninjas!!!

Probably, but the real worth of a game isn't measured by how much the reviewers loved it, but how much the players do and I'm sure that there have been games that have close to having almost universal acclaim.

Hey, I've spent more hours playing chess than games, so there is some sense. And it is all about strategizing, playing each piece to its strengths, the pawns are strong BECAUSE they are weak, They are disposable, and they move and attack different squares. They are, collectively, stronger than knights. Thinking of a small royal guard versus a large, still decently armed mob.

Considering that good is subjective, perfect even more so, there are both many perfect games and none at all.
