Nippon Ichi (Disgaea) and Insomniac are the only ones that come to mind atm

I haven't come across a developer that continued working on games like Insomniac have

Tim Shafter, seems to be the only reminder why I love games these days. I know I am getting very cinical at this point, but so far Tim been the only one to make me want to get all the achivemenets so I can play the game again, and the only guy been able to make a game fun even when you suck at it.

Never played it. I chose Rare (Rareware?) based on the games I DID play.
