Most of the final fantasy series, saving:

7 (for it was such a good game)
10 (because it was pissweak and easy)
10-2 (again)

Also:
Burnout: Revenge. I like it, but I can't stomach any more racing!

Dropship: United Peace force: When aricraft handles like greased chimpanzee attempting to sprint across desert, you know game is bad.

Mercenaries; Don't ask me why, I just haven't found the time.

Just Cause: Again, but the shitty control system killed, raped and burned the game to a charred, oozing mess. I mean- it had so much potential, but what happens- it dies, due to an incredibly poor control system, buggy sound AND THE FACT EVERYWHERE LOOKS THE SAME. (environents bigger that San Andreas are no longer reccomended unless the game is actually difficult).

The American campaign for Company of heroes: I'm sorry, your accents are incredibly irritating, your weaponery is inferior and you're so gung-ho that I actually want you to die. (The Arnhem and Caen campaigns saved it for me)

Long ago, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.
My mother got me the game for my birthday, wasn't looking forward to it, got let out of jail by a black guy and some terrible dialogue, got to a long grave yard, zombie starts walking slowly towards me from miles away, i raise my pistol.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.....bang...... bang, bang, bang, bang, zombie starts eating me.
Sent the game straight back after the first enemy.

More recently Quake 4 on the pc, got about half way through and got so bored i sent it back.
More recently, F.E.A.R, gave up on it, gameplay was terrible.
Even more recently Dead Rising, got to the woman on the motorbike, kept dieing due to questionable boss battle, gave up, maybe i'll carry on one day.
And at some point Resident Evil 4 on the PS2, forced myself through the main story because apparently its a good game, kept trying to find something that supported this, never did the ada wong campaign because i couldn't force myself through any more.

ive gotta agree on dead rising gave up after getting killed for the 5th time and having to go through all the backrooms to get back into the action, why couldn't i have quick save?

also two worlds played it for 5 mins before realising that i had already played oblivion to death and this one was no different.

GTA San Andreas. Last mission I believe, where first you have that long, tedious and not at all hard, just... TIME CONSUMING walk through a warehouse. Then a long drive after that fire truck. Then at some random point, I'm supposed to catch the dude hanging from the ladder of the truck. Where should I be in relation to it? Right under? A bit behind? Who fucking knows. I tried it a few times, but after spending far too long wading through hordes of 'gangstas' and then doing the long, tedious 'follow that car' bit, only to have this one moment set me back fucking ages? FUUUUUUUUCK that. The whole idea of the MISSIONS was to break the whole experience down in manageable chunks. Having car chase and trudge through warehouse be seperate missions might have broken the flow of the story and such, but at least I'd not be forced to spend AGES slowly painting the damn place red before the frustrating seconds that inevitably had me use my brother for either a speed bump, hood ornament or... I dunno, something that flies over the car. If I coulda PRACTISED that sequence somehow, I'd go through it again, but if it takes me thirty minutes or more to get to where i get to try it once, then fuck you and the horse you rode in on, GTA:SA

Kane & Lynch, the scene with the giant truck(*AAARGH*). After 30 times of getting squished by 50 tons of steel or loosing by letting an important (and absolutely useless) NPC die, I quit.
Unnecessary to mention, the scene started after a unskipable video :/.

Oh and Star Wars: Empire At War. I want my money back!

I got close once, with a Sonic 2d game!

There was one point in Sonic 3, Casino Night zone, where you are trapped in a room with a large spinning platform that goes up and down. The way out was obvious, the platform went up and down, you had to time a jump as the platform was at its lowest level.

The catch was I had spotted a way of effecting the platforms (jumping just before the peak and then crashing down on it) but this platform used completely different rules you had to press up & down on the d-pad. That had never come up in a Sonic game before, or even in this one before.

I eventually did it the hard way, jumping, but it always took me about 5 minutes, requiring me to blast through the level super fast.

Somewhat frustratingly when I dug out my old Saturn to let my brother run through the classics from Sonic Jam he didn't even flinch, and found it out. Something like 6 years of mystery gone in a moment.

For me it was MGS4. I got a copy 3 days before the release so I was very exited. I took a big box of beer on way home.

What I saw - cutscene-cutscene-turn corner-cutscene-run 20 meters-cutscene. Well, after GAY took a dump on 35th minute of "tactical espionage action game" and continued with this for a whole 40 minutes I turned off console and started to play Ninja Gaiden2 for a whole day just to calm down. However I finished it the next day just to make sure no one will say that "it is getting better but you didnt finish it".

1. Titan Quest. It tried far too hard to be a prettier Diablo II and failed. The loot was too generic-looking (and cool stuff never dropped enough), the story was boring and to top it all off, I wasted about 20 hours on it...
2. System Shock II. I heard it was awesome, so I downloaded it and tried playing. It wasn't the slightly old-skool graphics that got me, it was the fact that I was shitting myself. I turned off the music because it was annoying me and, trust me, it's much scarier without the music. I still have occasional nightmares about small, telekinetic monkeys... and zombies with shotguns or wrenches

Bart Vs the space mutants, 2nd level theres a huge jump you physically cannot make one of the biggest traumas of my childhood. Years later I got it on emu, still couldn't do it and went on gamewinners, turns out theres a super jump you can do by holding both buttons that wasn't mentioned in the manual. If I ever find the man who made that game...

Oh and the camera on res evil. Walk around a corner and get munched by a zombie. No.

Two worlds on the 360. I played for 20 minutes, grabbed a towel to clean up the blood coming from my eyes and ears after reading the dialogs and hearing the voice-acting, threw the game back in the rental (Thank goodness) case and sadly wished I had my 8 dollars back.

Turning Point Fall of liberty. Now usualy no matter how much a game sucked I always find some reason to play it throu to the end and play it once more again, even with turning point (mostly). But good lord that was the first and only game that i played that gave me motion sickness after I played it idk mybe because the game was suck a cock slap at the end or the fact your "suppose" to be an ordinary citizen who can regenrate health and rape a whole army's worth of souldiers not wearing anything other then ordinary clothing... but now im just whining XD. bottem line I could not bring myself to play the game a second time.

Well there has been a whole host of games i just had to stop playing, here are the main gits

GTA:san andreas = right yeah sure it was am amazing game untill you got to the 3rd island and got to the Z missions for some model plane fanatic basically all you have to do is defend these arials from mini bombers sounds easy doesent it ? ...... well no its pissing impossible there is always one of the little wankers that you miss and finishes off the last tower you have left, that mission pissed me off greatly, and even worse it ruined san andreas for me

red steel= walking round corners waiting to die , nonresponsive wii controls SHIT in other words
