For our diploma we've been asked to create...well, something for an exhibition that's taking place in our school. So being the geniuses that we are, we've decided to go with the idea of making a zombie film. So far we've only made a test video but since the Escapist if filled with constructive people, I wanted to know what you guys think of it.

Pretty cool idea you have there.

The bad: The blood doesn't look too realistic...too bright and too watery. Also, the hair looks pretty...er...odd.

The somewhere in the middle: The guy being...well, zombi-fied, for lack of a better term, sounds pretty believable, but when he's pounding his fists on the wall, it's very obvious he's not putting any sort of force behind it.

The good: Musical cue works well as does the alternating-camera angle bit near the end and the recurring image of the door (maybe have the door zoomed in on just a little more each time it's shown?)

The concept looks pretty cool, just need to work on the execution, methinks. Good luck with it!

Well, it's not exactly what I'd call a zombie-film, since there is only one and he dies(?) pretty quickly. It's a nicely done project though, I like your camera style.
The blood is maybe a little bit watery and light red, but whatever.

For a cheap movie blood effect, use chocolate syrup (with corn syrup mixed in to thicken it) you'd be surprised how good it looks. other than that, pretty good.

For excellent looking blood, mix corn syrup with red food colouring. It looks disgustingly real, although pretty thick. But thick would look cool in this. You could even cut up some SPAM or something and put it in the concoction.

The rest looked pretty good. I liked the camera work and the music.
