Is This Considered Hacking?

What I have just done, is created a splitscreen profile in MW2 and saved it to a USB. I then downloaded a console mod and replaced my splitscreen stats with said mod. Afterwards, I uploaded this modded profile to my PS3. I can't play online with it, and I wouldn't, even if I could, but I still feel like an asshole for doing it.

What do you think?

On a technical level, yes. Morally, no. It's not even like your cheating the singleplayer for trophies, your just "fixing" the awful idea that was at the heart of MW2's splitscreen.

I don't understand entirely, but if you can't play online with it, then there shouldn't be a moral problem with anything you do. If it's disrupting your enjoyment of the game though, don't do it?

Technically, it is modding. However, it's not severe, and Sony themselves can't have much of a problem with it due to the fact it is so easily done. Also, due to the fact it does not alter the experience, it's not that big a deal.

No, I've already done it. It's not really ruining anything, it just doesn't feel right. This is the console gamer in me speaking, if this were a PC game, I'd be fine with it. I guess it's just a subconscious thing for me.

In any case, I was just trying to provide some discussion.

Yeah, search "Golden Desert Eagle CoD 4 for Xbox" on Youtube. There should be a tutorial on how to get this and more.
