Okay so I am no longer going to this college but I am still friends with a bunch of people that go to this one. Apparently today the cafeteria was closed by the New York Health Department. The school is basically just waving it off sending out an email that says that they will reimburse people up to $30 back onto the MEAL PLAN that can ONLY be used in the cafeteria that was closed due to health concerns.
My friends are currently signing a petition to get their meal plans completely reimbursed or at least the money that is on the meal plans due to this thing.
Is it right that the school who was not able to keep the cafeteria up to health code is going to put money back on the meal plan that can only be used at the cafeteria and school and not just reimburse the students to their actual accounts that they do refunds for already?
