Is this supposed to be funny?

Anyone look at the Onion News Network? I admit I'm not the biggest fan and am probably passing judgement based on that, but I stumbled upon this video and I'm trying to see how it could be considered funny. I found it more offensive than anything else.

I think that groups like the Onion sometimes go a bit far. Not that I approve of "political correctness" but there are, unfortunately, a ludicrous amount of people that are unable to read the humour or sarcasm in things like this. The kinds of people that force companies to create new warning labels on food and cleaning products.

Anyone else bothered, perhaps even nudged by this video?

COME ON!!! It's ridiculous, people take everything on the internet so seriously, if you don't like it, d not watch it, its that simple really.

I found the game hilarious, it was a great parody of the shooter genre. The video on it was pretty good too.

I find that very funny. It's a doorway to the mind of people that see us playing the FPS "kill em all" games or GTA and it's clones and wonder why.

I just the watched the video and i can see how this is meant to be a joke but i also can't really see how it is offensive. I think because most non-gamers think that video games consist only of 'shooting people in the face', they think that all games are causing damage to society but if people can't see the irony in this then they need to watch it again. I agree with you to some extend about it is supposed to be funny, but i am having a hard time thinking of how this could offend anybody. Perhaps you could tell me why you found it offensive..

Yes, video games are a bad influence, instead we should watch what celebrities to and mimick them, I mean, beating up prostitutes, doing drugs, and wrapping very expensive cars around light posts is something you only see in video games, right?
