Looks more like a dog with a disease. But, it could be an animal hybrid that is recently come up.

Most Chupacabra sightings can be attributed to dogs that have mange. That looks like another one.

But combine a mangy dog, with the intrigue of superstition. And you have La Chupacabra, the mexican goat sucker... in Texas.

HAHAHA the best part of that video:

after pictures of what just looks like a dog

"it acted like the neighbours dog"

I'm betting all that will come of this is one upset girl when they have to explain they shot lassie because it was funny looking.

I thought Cupacabra was spanish for Goat Killer or something??? Really it could be pritty much any type of wild dog... I doubt there is a single Cupacabre. Its just generated into a myth but I honestly don;t think it exists :S

Just looks like a hairless dog. "it was a pinkish colour" - just me or was it gray?

Also anyone else notice a distinct lack of bullet wound after claiming he shot it? Something that thin would likely have an entry and exit wound on either side

"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't" I know you're in the south and all, but do you really need to dumb down "nobody knows if it's the chupacabra or not"?

It looks like a fur-less chihuahua. I know, my furry chihuahua is sitting right here. Thank fuck mine has fur. I'd hate for it to start sucking on goats to keep warm. Not even sure where she'd find a goat... Actually, that sounds cool, where's the razor.

It looked like a Doberman to me; hairless and with sun-bleached skin. It's behavior sounded more dog-like than wild. Since it wasn't the only one of it's kind, I'm guessing a local rancher had a litter of hairless dogs. It's only a matter of time before that gets out if it's true. Of course they could be a little of hairless coyote or something similar. Nothing mythical, just an anomaly.

We'll never know if there is or not. There very well could have been a real creature that started the chupacabra myths, but now they're just that: myths. The mythical idea of the chupacabra has changed so much since the first "OHMYGODMYGOATSAREDEADAHHHH!" report that we can never know what it was, if it was an actual thing at all.

Now it's just there so that every time a family anywhere in the Americas finds an animal dead with no blood the news can say "OH EM GEE IS DIS DA CHUPAWHATSIT WHO KNOWS LETS TALK ABOUT IT UNTIL THE NEWS PICKS UP BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE STUPID AND WILL LISTEN TO ANYTHING WE SAY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

No and this isnt new they've found the same mange infested looking canine before. See the reports of these "chupacabra" attacks always speaks of how the property damaged (usually chickens and other small ranch animals) are killed with little to no blood and usually with minimum damage to the body itself (usually still intact). Looking at this its obvious this animal tears its meat no matter how it may feast.

Of course all the reports of the chupacabra could always be a fake trying to get attention and the whole chupacabra itself is just a myth, however one way or another I cannot imagine this thing is the reason behind such myth...I'm positive that most anyone around the world could see this as a diseased animal.
