I've been without internet for a while, so I only just now heard that apparently Disney is going to make Star Wars episode VII.

Is this true, or is it just a rumor?

If it's true, I want to point out that WKUK fucking called it.

I am of the same opinion and really I am actually quite okay with having more of Star Wars, let them actually make something first before damning them all to hell.

I kind of agree, though I'm not sure its a good idea to make another Star Wars in the first place, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

I don't think its quite the same as them buying Marvel though. Marvel was capable of making great movies before they were bought by Disney. Lucasfilm....well.....recently...not so much.

It's good because George Lucas isn't writing the script! No more bad writing!

While I do read cracked I didn't see that article, thanks for the share and they are some pretty good points.

I think there is certainly potential for a new line of movies and damnit I want to know if the ewoks stopped at just destroying the death star or did they expand to the stars in a new galactic empire.

I dont think I would have a problem with another Star Wars movie, so long as it isnt based around the main story as we have now. I wouldnt mind seeing a movie set in the timeframe of KotOR.

'Tis true, 'tis true, and I'm actually pretty happy about it.

I mean, I know there's the extended universe and whatnot, but I don't really dabble in it, so I'm curious as to how I'd react to Star Wars now, since the last movie came out when I was a teenager. I mean, I enjoy all of the movies, (yes, even the prequels, in their own right), but I don't know if I'd enjoy them without the rose-tinted glasses of my youth experience colouring my view.

Incidentally, I recall reading somewhere not too long ago that 2015 is also the date the Avengers sequel is penned for.

Might be an interesting year for cinema.
