i just made some lamb in garlic and rosemary with mixed vegetables, which i picked up at my local snobby supermarket, i was really looking forward to it, especially because i haven't had meat in two weeks, and as i heated it up my entire apartment smelt glorious, but as i tasted it, it was just a bland meal with little to no taste at all.

as you may realize this was a huge disappointment, what was your biggest disappointment in a meal?

I ordered a £15 "well done" steak and chips, the lump of meat received was small (as in burger sized) and a pale grey.

When I went to an Italian restaurant, ordered some pasta with a fancy name, and got something far inferior to the pasta with chicken and mushrooms that I make myself.

Just recently I went to a new gourmet pizza place and tried their duck, duck confeit, fuagras pizza. $26 and it was quite bland.

I just had not one, not two, but THREE wisdom teeth surgically extracted. I was given a nice big box of painkillers, and sent home to rest.

3 days later, and these painkillers are a lie. It dulls the pain slightly, but I'm still in agonizing pain. I wanted painkillers, not paindullers.

That time I asked for pigs in a blanket and got this instead of actual pigs in an actual blanket:

Well thats what you get for ordering steak 'well done' Rob. Medium rare is the way forward :p

I bought a frozen Pizza from my local supermarket at uni for £1. I wasn't exactly expecting the finest cuisine for a quid, but what I got was far, far worse than I could have ever been prepared for...

It had like 2 bits of shitty salami, the cheese was non existent, the tomato sauce tasted like sugar, and the dough swelled up to like 2 inches thick. It was basically a massive chunk of bread with some sauce scraped over the top.

That's what the ice pack is for.I got out all 4, looked like a chipmunk for like 2 weeks...

Go to a random restaurant/fast food joint and look at the pictures "Hey that looks good". Nope...

And that's why you make Pizza yourself.... or order from Domino's :p
(over £40, half price. At Stafford, about once a month we have a "Pizzapocalypse" where as many people as we can get order pizza and drinks. We hit £299 last time. At 50% off, that's not bad going)

BUT THERE'S NO BACON!

You should have sued for misrepresentation or something, how can they sell pigs in blankets without using bacon, that's toad in the hole!

Anything I try to take from McDonalds. I go in hoping something would taste nice but no, it's all grease and oil ridden.

Yeah fair point... :p
Now we just order pizza from the takeaways, or go to this really nice bar that makes pizza whenever we want one. £299 is a pretty epic sum of money, you should be proud :p

There's a lot of great local eateries where I live. I frequent them. They never lead me astray.

Last night I went to jack in the box and it was even more disgusting then I remembered. I got this pita snack thing with chicken and it smelled like a wet dog. I also had a small cheeseburger and was sick for the next day. I need to stop eating fast food.

Actually a little annoyed we didn't hit £300 :p
But we must be putting domino's out of business... that should have cost near £600. :L
