And no, it's not wrong to feel emotionally connected to fiction of any format. If something fictional makes you feel strongly about something, then generally it's doing it's job*.

On that note; even when something in a fictional setting makes me feel those strong emotions, I tend not to let them show. Some sort of restraint mechanism activates inside my mind. Is that wrong?

* - I won't say 'good', because there are a lot of people that make up emotions when watching-slash-reading the Twilight franchise...

The art style used in A Little Snow Fairy Sugar is really commen in harem & moe type shounen animes, so I assumes by its appearence it was aimed at teen boys. (See DiGi Charat for an example...Not the Panyo-Panyo or Nyo ones).
