while walking through the gamestop the other day I noticed some of these games.
There all the same!
one of those games is the wii's best selling third party title and one of them was the previous holder.

Yeah, so Ubisoft is milking its dancing game franchise. Activision did the same with Guitar Hero until the market for it got bled dry. And as far as I know, Activision has no dancing games, so how is Ubisoft stealing their thunder? Because dancing games have overtaken instrument-based games in popularity? Because of the aforementioned franchise milking, releasing minor updates at full price every few months or so?

I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make.

...Why the fuck would they try and milk a franchise with a Smurf's Dance Party game?
I mean...what the fuck?

I don't care for the smurfs, but i wont hear a word against just dance... those games are pretty damned fun.

Seriously, they are without a doubt, the most fun i have ever had with a wii, ever.

Probably the same reason they made a Smurfs movie. Which is....actually, I don't know what the reason for that was.

But yeh, it looks pretty much like Guitar Hero style market saturation to me. I guess that Summer Party game has been out for a while? Just seems a bit late this year for a game called "Summer Party".

It would never be too late for Deus Ex: Summer Party though.
