OK to clarify.
1) I had this thought where we were basically just still cavemen with internet access, we stay indoors unless we have to go out, standing in the hot sun basically kills you as well. Some times we go out to gather (shop/work) but also indoors unless the weather is good. But we've stopped hunting now (city folk I mean)
2) In WoW (as many other games), you hunt animals, skin them, gather plants, hang out with the rest of your tribe, fight with other tribes. Eventually you upgrade weapons/armour and go after tougher game.
So the most popular games/films/music basically fulfill our primal desires, hunting, shooting, war, sex.
