Fritzl

I will not explain further. About four months ago I still lived in my birth town that managed to squeeze in 5 minutes of questionable international fame. It was hilarious to read up on all the headlines spread over the globe and how it (mostly wrongly) depicted the town.

Considering I was born in San Francisco, I don't think I really need to mention what it's famous for.

For the foreign members of the audience: The 1849 gold rush and, more recently, the Castro.

If you don't know what the Castro is: Think just about any stereotype you can come up with for a homosexual sub-society and it fits.

Cwmaman is where the Stereophonics, including the recentlydeceased Stuart Cable, come from. They are mega-stars now and still live in the village!

A teacher/wrestler I knew lived in my town. He attempted to kill a girl and it made national news. Thats about it, but of course, I come from a town of 3,000.
