My mind is like the Dice Lord. Seeing every possible outcome, every consequence, every event. No wonder why I can never get to sleep.

I once saw a girl in a porno that looked like a friend of mine . Couldn't talk to her properly for a month afterwards.

Some people in my school say I have a twisted mind, mostly from the things I draw and sometimes say, or even the stuff I watch or listen to. I tell them (or just myself) there's more twisted, crazier things out there than me. Maybe they're just not ready yet.

We could possibly be twisted, but then again if we were truly twisted then wouldn't our puppeteers have some sort of backup plan to keep us from noticing the strings that they have wrapped around our lives? I mean, nobody brilliant enough to hatch a plot as dastardly and devious as twisting the minds of the masses would leave evidence behind right?

[sub]Well, unless you're this dumbass.[/sub]

So you have to ask yourselves, are you really as manipulated as you think you are? Was that Twinkie you just ate manipulated into your mouth? Was that man you just saw coming out of your mother's bedroom, half-naked, a figment of the imagination TV gave you?! Sorry about leaving my socks by the way. Or is it just natural human paranoia that's causing you to believe that your perfect suburban life isn't as perfect as you believe it to be.

[sub]These people actually live above a nuclear silo.[/sub]

No matter the answer. A sharp mind, if you're retarded then your fucked, and sound body will be more than enough to keep you from being easily manipulated...

[sub]That's strange I feel like getting Firefox. Right now.[/sub]

There are normal people!? No but seriously, I am screwed up up in the sense that sometimes my thoughts are horribly disgusting and/or sexual, insanely clean and clueless to all the innuendo everyone else sees, or really deep-thinking about stuff ... alternatively, I can be thinking next to nothing ... the sexual and/or disgusting thing is probably because I'm a teenager, I'm sure it will go away in a year or four ... am I the only one thinking I probably shouldn't have told the internet this stuff?

If someone was born in an isolated monastery even if there where no monks or something to look after them their mind would still be "twisted" in they way you like to refer to it as. That lack of contact would twist your mind, you would have no way to develop a real thought process until you really where a twisted person in a literal sense.

My mind has been warped but i like to think my opinion's on subjects are my own. My parents, schools, and the media has helped me develop a way of thinking that every person should have and from those thought processes i've developed my own opinions.

However when i think about it i've taken things from each of these manipulators and on selectively applied them, as i aged definitely not immediately. So that choice on what i take from these sources shows that i still have my free will, but how does that mean that someone who is exactly like their mother or father has had their mind twisted. What if thats just their opinion. So once again that confirms it everyone's mind is twisted in your sense of the word.

This logic has to choices really everyone is twisted or no one is

1. My parents made my cynical, which made me cynical.
2. I'm rather clever.
3. ????
4. PROFIT!

...I'm sorry.

Anyways, you have to actually believe all those people on TV to have them influence you. And porn hasn't made me objectify women more, it just informed me of a fun thing to do in my spare time.

Plus, I'm not twisted, I'm "eccentric".

By that I don't mean insane or totally warped like a cannibal or psycho killer. Just not in it's natural state.

Advertising - twists your mind subtly, affects your views towards materialism, what 'good looking' people should look like, gives you a host of neurosis about problems you don't have.

Porn - affects how you think about women and sexuality in general.

Bad tv shows, radio, polical campaigns, religious sermons etc - All these people have an agenda, which is money and power

Community - You may live in a narrow minded community and it works out better for you to be narrow minded as well if you live in that community. To a larger extent, the same groupthink/ideals as your country.

Parents - Imagine your childhood self as drying cement/tabula rasa. At an impressionable age, you have no reason to doubt your parents even if they 'lie' to you.

I don't see how it's possible for someone not to be 'twisted' in a way unless they were born in a isolated monastery
yea...

I don't see how it's possible for someone not to be 'twisted' in a way unless they were born in a isolated monastery
considering how everyone here is on the computer, i doubt anyone will be not 'twisted'.

plus twisted so rediculously an exageration for what your saying, its pretty much nature:
this this and this happened, and now its like that. twisted is more like, fucked up creativity or maybe just being fucked up whatsoever. (now that i think about it, twisted pretty much is what your saying only extreme, but not quite to the "insane" level.

I have a running feature on my Facebook feed called "Sociopathic Rage Dept." I'd say I'm twisted in that insane/totally warped way. Maybe not quite a diagnosable sociopath quite yet, but if the world keeps pushing me...

My greatest weapon against a mind-reader would be letting them read my mind.

More seriously, though, probably not much more than most people. There's plenty of perverted thoughts and some homicidal impulses floating around, but no more than for most people.
