Speed isn't a big issue for me right now.

The real problems are their awful copyright management, with it's naughty boy finger wagging at anyone who so much as refers to copyrighted content, and the constant sneaky attempts at making me combine accounts and use my real name. Stop it google, you are acting like a bloody stalker right now.

I thought I was having weird problems too but I just changed the channel on my router and everything internet related sped back up.

Guess my neighbors router or something was getting in the way of my own wireless signal or something like that.

There could be all sorts of problems but you are free to try that if you are using a wireless connection to your router.

You mean aside from the usual issues? Yeah, I've been having a lot of problems with YouTube as well. Random drops in resolution, no buffering while on pause (though this has been a problem for a while), frequent and unexplainable crashes (meaning no buffering OR playback, and by extension a mandatory refresh)...pretty much everything that's already been brought up that doesn't pertain to having an account.

Now I just don't go to YT anymore unless I have to. If I want music, I go to Grooveshark first for my streaming needs. If I want to watch Daria, Muppet Babies, MLP:FiM, Always Sunny, MST3K, Beavis and Butthead, Adventure Time or some other show, alternate sources are just a lucky break on Startpage away. DVDs also exist too. AVGN? Cinema Snob? I'll go to the official sites, where the videos themselves are usually uploaded to non-YT sources, which is fine with me as long as it isn't Springboard, because Springboard sucks the devil's cock.

The only thing that I've noticed being weird on YouTube at the moment is the amount of Persona music and videos being taken down due to "copyright infringement" recently. And it doesn't appear to be anyone Japanese that is making YouTube pull these videos. I wonder what the hell is going on?

Supposedly some Russian actress or singer is going around passing out copyright claims to any video with the word "persona" in them. Why does she think that she can actually do this? Apparently she is from a site called "Persona Stars". Not to mention that youtube copyright claims can pass for even similar words, she can do this. If it was Atlus filing copyright claims I can understand but some random Russian celebrity just because she has the word persona in one of her song titles really annoys me.

OT: Youtube's past updates for a while just breaks itself more and more as time goes on. There are times when videos will play perfectly at 1080p then next morning they will not buffer at 144p.

YouTube's always been weird for me. For whatever reason, it seems like the buffering rate and general loading time of the entire site seem to vary between my different browsers.

I think YouTube is just trying to torment us in more ways than just their updates.

I had a few issues like that yesterday. had to reopen my browser just to get vids working. After that it stopped though.

YouTube thinks I can only watch videos at 240p... and anything over 720p just comes off as choppy at best...

I also noticed how I can sometimes see previews of other YouTuber's channels if I hover my mouse cursor over a YouTuber's name in the comments... but, that seem to only be when I use Chrome instead of Firefox during my usual "YouTube Video Crawls"...

Besides Youtube's Uploader and I never getting along since my first YouTube upload, YouTube astounds me at how many steps it missteps whenever they try to take steps further in "improvements"...

I think there are some bad servers in the Borg YouTube collective, and instead of fixing them, the company just keeps rotating them through different zones so that everyone hits them sooner or later.

Oh, also- if you've linked your YouTube channel to a Google+ profile, do NOT delete the profile or your channel will be DISABLED. One guy I subscribe to had that happen; he says he was given no warning that the channel would be disabled when he did so. I've been having problems all morning. I can't get rid of the little pop-up ads that appear over the videos, even when hitting the little "x".

Also when it gives you the option to skip the first ad after 5 seconds, it's not working for me at all. ot sure if it's a youtube problem or just my PC, though.

The low quality videos never bothered me though, 'cause I do have an indecisive internet speed.
