Bungie's gonna be mad that they stole the Halo theme for one of those games.

I can't be the only one that tried them.
lol if Bungie try to sue, they will be labeled as antisamits!

The one on ammunition hill I had some problems with. No ability to jump over obstacles or clear debris, no reloading ability, poor graphics, and only one enemy skin. Other than that I like the idea of teaching history through games and if they had a bigger budget for the games to make them more realistic I'd love it.

Also I may be American but I 100% support Israel.

I want the Israeli people to make their own games just so the term Hebrew Homebrew becomes popular.
Haha, love that comment. Here's hoping it does become popular.

I would say these games suck and provide no educational content, but then I would be called antisemitic.
Nope, that comment would have people frowning and anticipating something to incite that comment though.

Personally, I agree that these don't look like they should have been made. How about some real games, guys?

I don't know why that took a double post to restate the same thing LOL.

Heck, us Americans do that already. Ever played a Tom Clancy or Call of Duty game?
CoD hasn't ever had a primarily America only game.

It's always had a mix of different cultures. In fact, both Modern Warfare had more SAS than any other branch of military.

Tom Clancy... Mostly just American characters. Not crazy Patriotic.

Israel's never going to get a triple A game industry, due to the cost of it vs limited market in Israel, and unlikelihood of being able to market it outside the state.

hence, we keep getting flash based crap like this instead of a proper title.

Also, propaganda? Really? It's more like a crudely put together 5th grader's project.
Shitty propaganda is still propaganda.

Ok, so perhaps calling this game "propaganda" isn't entirely fair, but releasing a game like this when the Israeli government is actively taking flak for human right abuses and illegal occupations is a bad idea all around.
these people don't work for the Israeli government.

I quite amazes me how much you can all talk out of you asses without actually knowing nothing.
Only one of the games have you fight Arabs (ancient philistines don't count), and it's a godamn reenactment of an actual battle! Though from what I see here, I assume you think that the real history of the world is Zionist propaganda...

Who don't have to work for the government to make propaganda for whatever cause you claim to fight for. Are the weird "christian video games" made by the fundamentalists in the US not propaganda for religious fundamentalism because they aren't sponsored or made by the US government?
I'm confused.
what do Christians video games have to do with the US government ?

they may promote religious fundamentalism, but that does not = US government

nor have I seen these games actually promote anything.
the only thing they do is try (poorly) to portray a specific battle from the six day war.

whats wrong with that ?

The weird "christian video games" made by fundamentalists in the US do not represent the US.
Neither do these games, which as far as I've played only reenacts a single battle in an actual war and some other weird stuff.

I highly doubt even 100 Israelis have heard of this. It's just some small, political council that released some stupid-ass, shambly put together games (Shockwave? Really? That's so irrelevant that I had to redownload it just to play it). It's got nothing on what the other guys [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomorrow%27s_Pioneers] have out there.

Yes, but everyone is hopping onto Israel as if they are the first to do it, and they are not. I have a weird pet peeve with pots calling kettles black.

Not being the first doesn't make it right. According to the bible (Numbers 31:1-54) the Jewish people, led by Moses, were the first people in history to commit genocide, in this case by murdering every Man, Woman, and male child of another culture, keeping all of the virgin girls and livestock for their own personal uses. Just because Hitler attempted to commit genocide against Jewish people thousands of years later, doesn't make the action any less wrong. Be careful when attempting to claim hypocrisy on the part of one's enemies. If the Jewish holy scrolls/Christian holy book are truly to be believed, the same charge could be leveled back, unless, as the rationalization goes, "It's okay when God orders it." Who "did it first" is not an excuse.
