Issue with 'Athens Login'

I've been trying to use the Athen login to access an online database of academic articles but I keep getting refused because of a 'temporary network failure'. Are there any other students here who use Athens? Can you log on at the moment or is the problem with my account?

Boss, I just tried a random fake login at JStor and the hourglass just keeps grinding and grinding and grinding. It can't even tell me I'm not a registered user.

Whole thing could be down, or maybe just a local network. I'm on the American East Coast.
