Issues Loading Escapist's Site Recently

I've been experiencing a lot of issues with the Escapist lately, and if I had to guess, it is probably due to the increased traffic MM has brought in. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Its getting pretty annoying XP

Yeah, I'm getting the same here.

It's obviously the MM traffic, so I don't get annoyed because I can see why the site lags.

Yes, it is due to increased traffic. You have March Madness, plus the fact that two fairly popular video series were released today. Tomorrow, I guarantee that it will be one-hundred times worse because of the added Zero Punctuation traffic.

The main reason I stay away from this site most Wednesdays.

Loading has been taking forever this evening. I guess something has caused there to be increased traffic at the moment.

It's almost like wednesdays -.-

Edit: I absolutely loathe the zp-rush.
