I have a very very pissy flatmate who doesn't talk to me, and basically ignores me. She has her own everything- like her own washing up liquid- pots and pans, knives forks, toilet paper- everything.

She plays very loud (Im mean wall shaking) Dance and house music almost all day- and is otherwise generally hostile.

I'm wondering is anyone can give me advice regarding as*hole flatmates?

-and now she's playing metallica?! Obviously she's just trying to piss me off now by playing what every her loudest music is... pity for her I spent alot of my teens in a Metallica cover band...

I seriously hate this girl. Shes a ****ing *****.

So the problem has been resolved here: link [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.152460?page=2#3641131]

Who's name it on the lease? If it's yours, then a quick GTFO should suffice. If not, then you may have to get a new place. Of course, you can also report her to the landlord, and he can kick her as out.

...Actually, i would say go in there and tell her to sleep with you..

This sounds like one of those real "opposites attract" scenarios.

She's looking for you to treat her like crap, so go in there and dominate, dammit! DOMINATE!

1) Politely ask her to turn it down.

2) If ignored, bust in and rip out the cables from her speakers.

3) Start looking for a new place.

More seriously, report her to every possible person you can report her too for noise violations. The council, the landlord, student services, everyone and anyone you report her anonymously.

I might not get her to STFU even if they try to do something about it, but it would be funny as hell if she ended up with an ASBO because of it.

Yup, this. Make sure you get any cash she owes for bills first, then report her to EVERYTHING.

Hell, when she starts playing loud music, pretend you're a neighbour and report her to the police for excessive noise.

I've always been a fan of psychological warfare. *I've actually done these :p*

Get a good subwoofer (if you don't already have one), and put on Rick James' Cold Blooded [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnjbMtHH1H8] on endless repeat just high enough so that you can't quite hear the song, but so the bass penetrates the walls. lock your door and go away for a few days. When you come back, she'll be gone.

Or you could just go for making her uncomfortable. Eat her food, leave your dirty boxers in a pile in the bathroom, watch random online vids waaaay too loud at random times during the night, proposition her sexually every chance you get, etc.

Or, like someone else said, Falcon Punch. Y'know, whatever works for you.

1. Grow a pair.
2. Slap her in the jaw.
3. Look for advise of this nature in other places than the escapist.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Falcon Punch her out of the window of your flat. Or move out.

Also, why are you censoring? I'm pretty sure your mother doesn't relax in the evenings by visiting the Escapist.

purge her in the holy fire of the god emperor of mankind. Or throw her out of a window, or youcould be boring and talk to her. Personally, i like the fire option.

There is of course always option four. You give me £10,000 and the problem goes away. Just think about it

Perhaps you could do the same things she does to you? If she does try to talk to you ignore her right back. If she plays her music loud play your music even louder.
