Hello, sorry if this has been posted before, i will be honest that i didn't even search the forum to see if this is a recurring problem (bad me!), and was trying to go down the more "instant gratification" line of reasoning.

But today i am experiencing problems posting with google chrome web browser, i've only been using the program for a few days (switching from firefox because i hear chrome is faster, and i've no complaints up until now), but today it seems to not want to let me post (even though i'm certain i managed to last night).

So has this happened to anyone else? If so did you manage to solve it and how? It seems to only do it on certain threads, giving a 404 error.

I've been using IE to post and chrome to surf, but it's only a temporary solution, so any advice?

Problem solved!

Honestly, I don't use Chrome, so I wouldn't know the first thing about it.

Let's be frank; if the userbase here is anything like I suggest^H^H^H^H^H^H^H have been led to believe, every post will be this.

I'm using Chrome, no problems here. You sure it's not your internet?
Well i can't see why my internet would discriminate against just one web browser, not to mention just one PC in the house i live in (i know at least one of my housemates use chrome, maybe even two.). Although granted i'm the only one who actually goes on this website, but i still can't see how the internet could be so specific.

I used Chrome to type this with no problems!

Maye it's your computer, Chrome doesn't work well with Macs I've heard.

I use both chrome and firefox, and while usually chrome is faster than firefox, firefox seems to load and post on the escapist much faster.

Yeah I use Google Chrome here and there, I have not ever had a problem with it, except on the odd day it is a little slower. Try re-installing it?

Chrome hates you, it's only for nice people. Incidentally, I may share my Chrome with you some time...

Lol, looks like it's just me it hates then. I probably should have mentioned i'm running Xp. Oh well, i was planning to change to windows 7 and moving in a matter of days, so i suppose everything is going to change anyway. Thanks for the helpful and unhelpful replies though :p

Check to make sure that no firewalls are up or that you are using the same security settings for chrome as you do with IE.
