IT and humanities- your ideas

Anybody have any ideas for a topic to do a project on relating to information technology and humanities? I cant pick anything which was done by a previous student but the list would be too long to post so ..just any ideas at all?

I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but this is my particular field, and I can tell you there's a book [http://www.digitalhumanities.org/companion/view?docId=blackwell/9781405103213/9781405103213.xml&chunk.id=ss1-1-2&toc.depth=1&toc.id=ss1-1-2&brand=9781405103213_brand] you might be interested in: A Companion to Digital Humanities, edited by Susan Schreibman, Ray Siemens, and John Unsworth. It's got quite a few pages dedicated to the kinds of work being done with computing in the humanities, and you might get a good idea or two from it.
