So, what horrid monstrosities have crawled out of the Uncanny Valley to assault your nightmares lately?

This hasn't happened yet, but imagine it will: My 3D character creation class, everyone is doing a human. Knowing what the Uncanny Valley is and entails, I'm doing a lizard humanoid, so it can be far off and still look like something cool. I guess they don't yet that humans see humans in a certain way, and any other way is BAD.

Every night i wake drenched in a cold sweat. I wake not knowing what woke me. I'm sitting bolt upright before i realize that i am scared. I don't know why i'm scared. It's my bedroom. darkened but comforting. My wife is still asleep next to me. I get up and pace the room. Adrenline pumping. Soon it comes to me. Soon I remember what woke me. It might just be my arachnaphobic bias, but I highly doubt the hatching of spider eggs is as romanticised as that...
