It Ends Today...

SO.. today my subscription to WoW runs out.. I had 6months free because of some crap they pulled with my credit card and they gave me free time. In those months I've actually started liking the game again and noticed my personal life falling, from this game, once again..


I decided not to redo a subscription and I wondered what else should I do with my now months and months and hours of free time. Until I can be a panda that is..

I myself picked up another hobby when I ran out of MMO to play. I picked learning to play the guitar.

But as far as other games to play, some RPG's should be a good place to look (It's easy to have weeks waste away when hooked into something like Fallout or Skyrim) I spend a lot of my time playing an RPG, be it Skyrim, Fallout (3 and NV), Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls or any of the Final Fantasy series I happen to feel like replaying. I also tried going through some old games I have lying around to get all nostalgic and whatnot.

It also helps that I go drinking with my buddies every Saturday...

Call your friends, and hang out with them. Whether you play some games or go skiing, biking, clubbing, whatever... just go chill with friends. And play some single player games that you've missed out on.

As for your question : create something. Write, record, sculpt, take a picture, build a website, simply express yourself - there must be something you can share your world with.

Also : Learn how to play Pathfinder. You won't regret it.

As someone else who has cancelled a WoW subscription (8 months clean!), go out and enjoy the real world!

Make sure to wear sunglasses though. The first time sunlight comes in contact with your eyes can be traumatizing.

My suggestion? Take her out hiking or something, or maybe to a coffee shop. It'd give both of you time to clear your heads and talk things out.

Haha, funny thing last time we went hiking there was a couple biking up the hiking trail, it was pretty steep. I said something that made the female of the couple laugh and fall over. I Felt bad... I half expected to get ran over on their way down.

I also suggest deleting the devil's spawn of a game from your hard drive. It takes so long to reinstall it that removing it makes it hard to fall into it's thrall again.
