Minus numbers - so it is. The first thought was something to do with the TV adaptation of The Walking Dead, but that's not really a secret anyway, so that seems unlikely.

Alright, thought I'd sign up just to say, The countdown is now counting up. Basically counting how long we're surviving. (Dont get me wrong I don't believe in this shit but it'd be kick ass if it were a zombie apocalypse) BUT! To explain the website its counting up to how long we survive.. (it could be a new ARG?) Flu takes a while to set in..so in a fictional (or maybe not so fictional) world...It'd take a few days before effects are seen.

Ahah Possibility. It may just be some screwed scientist releasing a deadly flu with a hint of rage virus (rabies) into the human world and thus i have my shotgun at the ready with enough ammo to start a war...OR! (A more feasible thought...)
My bet is if it not for a book/game/movie etc etc its an ARG.
(ARG = Alternative Reality Game, Or Augmented Reality Game.
It uses electronic based devices such as Iphones or HTC's and uses the real world for clues etc etc. Like Snakes and ladders except the board could be your Iphone or something high tech enough and the world is the dice ... pretty exciting if i may say so myself)
But an apocalypse is still more excitable.
