Now I heard a little while ago that there is a war going on (apparently) over the 1st input in the TV and that the winner will make billions.
Now I am not entirely sure what they mean but I guess they mean the thing thats on as soon as you turn on the TV. I dont know why this is such a big deal I mean is it really that hard to switch channel personally I do it all the time depending whether I am on PC playing the PS3, 360, PS2 or Wii as all use different channels (well with the Wii and PS2 I just change the cables).
Why is this relevant well I believe it is what Microsoft are going for with the Xbox One. I had a quick search and found this article.

So it appears I may not be completely wrong.
Personally I feel they have misjudged their market and alienated their potential supporters to a large degree but all the TV stuff makes sense now even if I doubt people who cared about TV over gaming were actually watching.
So thoughts anyone have you heard about this war or/and do you think this is Microsofts real focus now?
