K, so, I was like, watching the TV, yeah? and, like, I saw this advert, and, well-ok I'll stop teen shitty talk now, it annoys me too. (don't ask me why I did that, I just felt like it... sorry

To be fair, what I was saying there was entirely true; I was watching TV, when suddenly this advert pops up, by 'Envirofone', a company that apparently gives you money for your old phones. The advert itself was generic, boring, and easily forgotten. But thats not what annoyed me about it - what annoyed me was the fact that at the end of the advert, a person pops up with fake-white teeth and an even faker smile saying "and its environmentally friednly!". The advert ends on that message.
...Ok, what the hell? Firstly, considering the "enviro" part of the name of the company, you would have thought that they would have put much more of an emphasis on this fact, than just mentioning it at the very end. Secondly, how is it "environmentally friendly", as they say? Surely the transportation of the phones to the company is bad for the environment, and, considering that they didn't mention what the hell they do with the phones, I'm guessing it isn't very 'environmentally fiendly' if they don't even want us to know.
This advert, if you haven't already noticed (and if you didn't, you might want to go to a social worker about that) annoyed me. This isn't what being environmentally friendly is about - you can't just tack on 'environmentally frienly' on whatever the hell you want and not explain at all how it is so.
