You're on the couch watching a t.v sitcom or a movie or doing something else like playing video games. It's late at night and you want to be warm somehow. How would you normally achieve this? Do you get a blanket or make some food to warm you up? Or do you get a friend round to snuggle up with, or do you simply turn on the central heating?

I prefer the blanket route as it's reliable and there's no risk of something going wrong. Though I don't use a blanket but rather my bed's duvet.

How do you overcome the epic struggle of keeping warm?

I dont have a sofa, just my bed in my room, so I just get under the quilt most nights

I put on a hoodie, grab a blanket, and make some coffee.

Then I cast Firaga.

I usually just add another layer of clothing.

A big wooly shirt is best.

Bess you *hugs*

The Boyfriend because I'm sloppy!

I love putting on a big fleacey(sp) jumper and having a cuppa, though.

I'm quite capable of taking the cold. However, I would likely grab a sweater if I started getting too cold, though.

EDIT: Am I the only one who read the title and immediately thought "You are likely to be eaten by a grue"?

Don't we all?

OT, I have one of those hippie type hoodies [http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.lathamtrading.com/catalog/images/baja631.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.lathamtrading.com/catalog/index.php%3FcPath%3D111&usg=__WDco5V3TVqfFqINkOnPmR6ehS1I=&h=573&w=398&sz=38&hl=en&start=43&zoom=1&tbnid=cwRziOVkvc5ZJM:&tbnh=136&tbnw=108&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhippie%2Bbaja%2Bhoodies%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Den%26biw%3D1920%26bih%3D1018%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=576&vpy=511&dur=3197&hovh=269&hovw=187&tx=114&ty=126&oei=aceTTIXhLYGB8gamqLiODA&esq=undefined&page=2&ndsp=36&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:43] that I wear at night when I'm cold to get all snuggly feeling. If I'm ready to sleep though, I get under the blankets and cuddle with my pillows.

I put on a big fat bathrobe I've got, get in the couch and then a blanket on top of that. Sometimes turn up the heater, but not at this time of year usually.

I ignore it. Unless I'm sleeping, what I'm wearing at the moment is fine enough.

I feel like such a party-pooper.....

Hot water bottle! And a mug of hot chocolate. Then I wrap a blanket around myself and put on my fuzzy pyjamas. If I'm not warm by the end of that... then I pull out the big guns - my electric blanket. Muahahahahah!

I'm extremely resistant to cold. I'm only at a good temperature at like 45-55 degress farneheight.

I get 2 blankets, lay the first one down, lay on top of it, then cover myself with the other. Mmm, toasty sandwich-style!

I grab my polar bear fur rug and wrap that around me. After that, I light up some whale blubber candles and put on my baby seal moccasins. It's quite comfortable. Oh crap nearly forgot, I also wear my Arctic fox hat.
