I find it shocking how many people spend hours and hours every day on video games.
I play video games quite games a bit but i see people spending hours a day on MW2 or WoW (both games i play) and its just amazing. I play WoW and MW2 and do raids and play a bit but i dont spend nights just playing and raiding or trying to make 10th prestige and i just dont get why people dont step back and relize that even if they reach 10th prestige or kill the lich king 2341234 times its still just a game

Why shouldn't they THEIR time in video games if they enjoy it? It's none of your business.

It's called a preferred type of entertainment. No matter how many times you watch Citizen Kane, it's still just a film. No matter how many times you play Moonlight Sonata on piano it's still just a song. It's none of your business how they spend their time.

Some people find enjoyment out of gaming. I know I do, just maybe not as much as some other people.

*takes a big breath* Okey that was one heck of a long sentence. Might want to add some Punctutation. It's not like you are our new Yahtzee right?

And no I do not agree with you completely. Some people just like to play a lot and like to see progress. How do you see progress? By playing a certain amount of time? Now I'm sure you'll bring up the argument: "I can achieve progress with only x hours a day less playtime."

Well that's just you. Some people are not as good as you and need more gametime. Others just like to do a lot of Sidequests/missions and invest more time into a game while, for exmaple, you only go for the main quests and complete the game in 8hours.

And finally, some people tend to make "friends" in games like WoW. It's also their way of 'hanging out' with them because they might be on the other side of the world.

I feel pride to know I have poured a large amount of time and effort into a game and my reward is satisfaction of having completed it and experienced all it had to offer.

Don't delude yourself. They know it's a game, but that's how they want to spend their free time. There's absolutwly noting wrong with it.
