Not much of a game really. Very few have the skill to make the kind of canvases they have in there, unless they have some sort of import function where you take a image file and it converts it into a vertical wall of blocks.

It's like Minecraft Classic which is just building stuff in a sandbox, but with higher resolution blocks and a ridiculously large amount of them. Also, you could see all edges of the box from one spot? I don't think stuff like Gondor or the 1:1 scale model of the USS Enterprise D would fit in that space.

Edit: Turns out it'll be free and it's just a bunch of guys trying to take it in a different direction, so it's not as bad as I had thought.

Seems like the hybrid of Second Life and Minecraft. It's a clear knockoff, but I doubt there's any legal ground against it; wouldn't want a monopoly of the genre.

I don't think Minecraft has anything to worry about though. Minecraft was great because of its simplicity and charm. This UberBlox has the mechanics, but it's not grasped what it is that made its source great in the first place.

It's fine to take inspiration from Minecraft, or even base a game off the concepts, but you should re-imagine the game, not replicate it.

It's Quake, it's 100% FREE, and it has what is called "Co-op Edit" which is if you press "E" you put away your weapon and you can now build blocks (like in minecraft... only there's 200+ textures and you can make your own... and it's building system is better, it just requires a mouse wheel)

The cool thing about minecraft is the random world generator though. This just looks like building blocks, no procedurally generated worlds begging for you to explore and plunder them.

It's Minecraft, but done much, much worse, I'm afraid. The only possible redeeming factor is that it may be free, but the original Minecraft is free and appears to be better than this!
