its ok to mock christains?

People make jokes at the expense of the christian religon because the majority of christians are big kids and can take a joke (not to name names, but it's fucking juvenile to riot over a cartoon). In fact, most christians don't even interpret the more ridiculas stories in the bible as factual, more a spiritual story that has been passed down to teach a lesson.
Also christianity is the major religon in the western world, which is where people are more likely to be allowed to mock the beleifs of the majority, why would we mock Hindus while we know nothing about them?

A butthurt-laden religious thread that is essentially crying about how somebody said some not-nice things about your beliefs, and now you want the entire forum to jump onto your side and give you hugs and hot cocoa with marshmallows while giving you gentle reassurances that everything's going to be alright?

I told a christian joke in a church once. I got kicked out and almost lynched the next day. It's all a matter of your audience. I can tell black jokes to a group of exclusivly white people and Black people who can take a joke, and nothing happens. I'm not labeled a biggot, I'm just told that was a good(or sometimes bad) joke and we move on. I wish it could be like this in all groups. C'est la vie...
ps. It is perfectly fine to tell a joke about any group you wish, so long as you make sure it doesn't go to far.
