When I wake up and find lots of snow outside I say "Fuck... Now I have to go shovel while my dad gets to use the snow blower."

People who don't get snow aren't missing much, since it sucks. It gets annoying up here in Massachusetts when you have to shovel almost daily.

God damn it.

First day of school after winter holidays, I have to wake up at 6am and spend 7 hours in school.

YAAY.

For anyone whos interested the snow has pretty much managed to stop central london entirely, buses were all down this morning, afew tubes were down and general panic, anarchy and looting began.

A lesson if you ever want to defeat britian in a war, just wait for 2 inchs of snow and the country will be at a stand still.

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth."
--Mark Twain

Living most of my life in Duluth, MN I can honestly say that my first thought is, and almost always has been, "Fuck. Snow."

I look at snow in the morning with mixed emotions
first its ohh maybe i dont have to go to college
then yeh im gonna go on my xbox
then its 'yeh...they wont close college, they never do'
then im sad
then i look at the snow again and think hey it looks so neat
then im cold
then i say dam my feet are wet, i hate snow
then it gets all slushy and looks really bad
then i say snow sucks
so yeh thats pretty much what i do when i look at snow.

No snowday for me today. But apparently if there's enough over night, then my school gets one tomorrow. So everyone I beg you!, pray to your respective religious leaders/scientific theories/nothingness.

Im in South East England and snow has blanketed everything and it's still snowing now!

I'm about to go out and enjoy the weather while it lasts.
This is such a rarity we all just go nuts at the slightest sign of the white stuff!
Yeah definitely,

most of the shops are closed where I am but quite a few people in the parks.

Walking back home I saw some giant snowballs that kids had blockaded the road with lol.

Reminds me of a contemporary poem.

I ride a motorbike into work every day, wind, rain even snow.

My first thought when i see snow is something along the lines of "oh shit, i'm gonna die today..."

My thoughts on the snow were

'My wife may get the day off. Hmm. Can't drive in this lot, think I'll walk. Pretty though.'

My wife did get the day off. I did not, as I work in retail and they'd still drag me in if there were a zombie apocalypse. I did have to endure all my friends texting me the words 'Snow day' during my shift. Still, I'm not complaining, it was a quiet shift plus I got to come home early.

Hopefully we'll have the day off tomorrow. I'm glad Britain over-reacts to snow, we get days off of school

I walked out of my house today, and saw the area blanketed with snow. The first thing thing i though was 'Jesus Christ that's beautiful'. So to answer your question, I think of beauty when I see snow.

Well, I hate to almost copy but see above (The Australia one) replace rural with suburban.

I "love" Australia's almost total lack of snow.
I live in canada, so snow for me is for granted. I love it and when i see it snowing in the morning i feel like im falling in love.
but im moving to australia soon and only now realize how much i really do love snow

I woke up and I thought it was night still. Such was the thickness of snow covering my windows (I live in the loft). I then woke up again and realised the quantity of snow. A foot. A. FOOT. That is unheard of. Especially in South-East England. I had something uproaching this when I live up near Birmingham but that was about 6 inches. And it was like 13 years ago. Global warming, what global warming? So I went and enjoyed it. I built an 8ft snow(wo)man. I had a HUGE snowball fight. And I didn't even have to go into school. What's that, Latin Test you say?. Not today, tomorrow then? WELL I DON'T THINK SO, I'VE GOT ANOTHER DAY OFF TOMORROW! MUWAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!

So, yeah. Yay snow.

My first thought was "Yippee snow" but then I realised I had to travel up half the country to get back to uni. Then my thought was "ah shit".
