Iji from... well, Iji. A chick with crazy amounts of nano-augmentation. A pacifist (on my playthrough anyway, you can choose your approach), but nevertheless capable of wiping out not one, but 2 alien invasion fleets on her own. Also a really nice person. Also also, already the survivor of an apocalypse and stopped a second one, so there's that.

Steve the miner, a la Minecraft.
Frankly, I'm thinking this is a pretty good matchup. I'll admit, I would rather have some badass like Isaac Clarke or Master Chief at my back, but Steve can not only make a shelter, he can create anything he wants to. Is the apocalypse a zombie invasion? Steve's dealt with the undead. All we'd need is some cobblestone and we'd be set; insta-fortress. Inside the fortress we can get a farm going, plant some trees, and live out our lives in peace. We'd start our own mining system, get diamonds, and then kick ass. If the apocalypse were some sort of world-destruction sort of thing, well, we'd just built ahead of it. Also, minecraft blocks float. Worst case scenario we build a new world. Alien invasion? Um... Well, that would prove interesting, but we could always portal to the Nether and survive there. Not that that's much better... I'm sure we could devise some sort of offense using TNT though.
All in all, not the best partner, but not a bad one either.

I play League of Legends nowadays so i guess Pantheon The Artisan of War, is my partner.
A Stanpar (Spartan) warrior would come in handy in an apocalyptic situation i guess.
Depends on the type of apocalypse tbh. if it were a sort of zombie apocalypse then an armored dude with a spear and shield who can jump 300 ft in the air and come crashing down would be awesome for a partner

With a SpaceMarine Captain by my side, what can possibly go wrong? Then again, they need ships full of serfs to take of their armor, and I have no idea if they were ever actually trained in finding food and stuff.

all i've played is tf2, so i guess that means all the classes are with. hot dog. engineer makes our base impenetrable, scout and spy go look for food, heavy demo and soldier take on the horde if the sentry gun needs assistance, sniper caps the occasional tank, witch, charger etc (well this is valve, right? logic) while me the medic and the pyro sit around doing nothing.
best, apocalypse, ever. and i guess if we get hungry we go get by the dispenser, which i THINK would be like an IV drip, give you energy but you'd still feel hungry.
