The topic of this thread is "What things would you like to see remade by Tim Burton".
I would actually like to see how he would handle putting the Hellsing series into a series of feature length films. Now I know that putting anime into movies usually doesn't work, but usually people try to adapt them into live action, and things start getting really PC and things don't work well. However what I am saying is that I would like to see Hellsing put into Tim Burtons artistic style, because A) If anyone could pull it off right I would say that it would HAVE to be Tim Burton. B) The notion just holds a weird appeal to me. Lastly C) I want to see just how crazy Tim can get when working on a decidedly mature project.

The Wizard of Oz. It's a creepy book as it is, and if Tim Burton did it that would put the icing on the cake.

You have to remember that anything made by Tim Burton must star Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter by law.

the thing i dont like about tim burton is that he isnt an artist. He just films using the "German Expressionisum" style of film. this film style was popular in the 1920's and 30's and has been long forgotton. He just rips off everything in that style to day.

films such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu used this style.

but that said i do still enjoy his films, but i dont think of him as an artist as many people do

If we're talking anime, I think he would have fun with Full Metal Alchemist.

Other than that, I'd love to see him do a Mario movie, if only to hear the Nintendo fanboys trying to figure out if they should be enraged or excited.

...Yeeeeeessssss. Do want.

Anyway Ummm lets go with another fairy tale... Sleeping Beauty or one of the more romantic fairy tales might be a feat worth attempting. Ooor oor um... twisted cartoon verse (starring any old classic cartoons, but ...y'know, twisted) Could be fun.

Lest you forget that he made Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. That immediately makes him the greatest filmmaker of all time.
