I had researched a little about the 6 days war out of curiosity before. I mentioned in a previous journal entry about a band who wrote songs about war. It just so happens that they made a song about the six days war. After hearing, I did some looking into it. I found out the basics and some dates. Looking more into it now, you get a feel for what really happened. I feel like I?m taking sides when I think about it. I look at a map of the Arab League, all the countries that have been at war with Israel, and how small Israel is, and I can?t help but feel for Israel. This tiny little nation fought off all these other countries working together. I don?t mind that they struck first, Egypt really gave them no choice, and I think that they deserve all the land that they took. Anyway, that?s just my take. A more important topic is the Israel-Palestine debate. You are right, both sides do have valid arguments and there is no real right answer. I feel for both, why should either of them give up land for the sake of the other? The U.N.?s got a tough case on their hands, I really don?t see any endings where everyone is happy. It?s not going to end very well.

I believe the last thing I copied was a semi-rant about Fargo, ND I wrote a while back...
Fargo is the cultural center of North Dakota - really - and this is almost more than most of us can handle because we?ve only had television for 11 years.
There are 3 TV stations here in Fargo - 2 are owned by the same company which would own more, but they can?t find enough high school kids to write the news.
The closest sports teams from Fargo are in Minnesota and now that Brett Favre is gone they have no one to worship except the American Idol guy who sang Pants on the Ground.
North Dakotans hate it here.They would like to leave, but you can't buy gas with food stamps.
People think Canadians who come to North Dakota are here to shop. They are wrong, Canadians are actually really stupid people, yet they come to Fargo to laugh at the North Dakotans.
In West Fargo, ND there's a statue to the Scandinavian Goddess of Unseasoned Food. In the winter they sprinkle salt on the roadways because they have no other use for it.
The biggest event in Fargo, next to July 5th when everyone looks for unexploded fireworks, is the Spring Bowling Banquet.
The most popular pizza in the state is made by a master pizza maker who has a shop called "Dave's." - that in Italian means short guy who puts ketchup on flatbread.
When Fargo's census reached 50,000 people and it was deemed a "metro" area, 3 area churches voted to send a representative to D.C. to protest the sexual connotation of the term "Metro."
The Fargo City Counsel voted down an application for a winery building permit, because there were already too many people complaining about the cold.
Every spring people in Fargo worry about flooding because if the flood season lasts too long, it will upset the construction season when they build homes along the river.
The movie "Fargo" is a documentary.
The movie "Ice Age" was supposed to be made in Fargo, but wasn?t because producers were concerned about the lack of phone service in most parts of the state.
The movie "Wizard of Oz" is rumored to be coming to Fargo - and in color now that four Fargoans have I-phones.
