iTunes recovery

okay, first of all, I apologise for the lack of discussion, but I need help.

A while ago my iPod went through the wash, along with ALL the music I downloaded and put on,and ALL my applications.

Now I have a new iPod, how do I recover ALL my lost music, and possibly my apps. If there is a way please help me. I am currently using a different iTunes account.

I signed in on my old one and it doesn't seem to have all my old music on it, just my current music on my iPod.

If there are any solutions please help me, I had quite a lot of music on there...

By your OP, I am assuming you downloaded stuff onto your iPod instead of iTunes?

Did you sync your iPod with iTunes after you downloaded said stuff? If not, it's lost, if you did, you are fine.

Either way, just plug your new iPod into iTunes and see what you have remaining. If you buy stuff off iTunes instead of your iPod, it can be re-downloaded for free later on.

cool, thanks. Before my old iPod went through the wash it had been previously synced. I will try your method out now.
